Embracing Clarc: Abri Architects' Journey to Streamlined Project Management
Director, John
We're delighted with how seamless and straightforward the transition from WorkflowMax to Clarc has been.
Company Background
Abri Architects, an Auckland-based firm, recently made the transition from WorkflowMax to Clarc's integrated project management platform. With a growing portfolio of projects, the team recognized the need for a more robust and user-friendly solution aligned with their unique workflows.
Workflow and Collaboration
Customizing Clarc's workflows and contract templates to align with their processes has been a positive experience in terms of flexibility and user-friendliness. "We've only done a bit of this but so far we're happy with how easy it is," Durkin shared. Clarc's collaborative features, such as shared project workspaces, have facilitated better coordination among team members and with external consultants or clients.
Improved Project Management
Managing multiple projects simultaneously, Abri Architects faced challenges inefficiently handling workflows, team collaboration, and financial processes.Their previous software, WorkflowMax, was described as "clunky,"hindering their ability to fully leverage project management capabilities beyond basic time tracking and invoicing. "We're hoping we'll use Clarc more in the project management sphere rather than just timekeeping."
Ongoing Adoption and Optimization
As Abri Architects continues their adoption journey, they are working on optimizing task management and project planning within Clarc. "We are starting to work on planning." Clarc's real-time budget management capabilities are being utilized. "This is something we are starting to utilise and looks like it will be useful - especially for staff to see where they are at." The reporting and analytics features are valuable. "The reports are good. I suspect we will be better served once we have a few more months under our belts." As Abri Architects continues exploring Clarc's capabilities tailored for the architecture industry, they anticipate further streamlining their workflows, enhancing team coordination, and leveraging real-time data for strategic decision-making and business growth.
