How did Clarc improve the administration process for Engineering Collective?

The Engineering Collective is a professional engineering consultancy established in 2020 by Greg Davies to provide specialist structural design, assessment and advice for building projects.

As a newly established company, we were looking to implement a project software that was user-friendly, simple and cost-effective. After trialling Clarc, we decided to subscribe, and the fact that it was an NZ business with local support was also a deciding factor.

Clarc were able to migrate project data from our previous system easily, so that we were up and running relatively seamlessly. The support and communication from Clarc throughout was great.

The reporting and timesheet functionality has enabled us to work through things like invoicing more quickly. With a growing team, the schedule allows us project visbility, and to better plan collaboration in the office. Regularly reviewing and updating Tasks keeps us on track daily and weekly.

Ongoing customer support from Clarc has been excellent. They proactively encourage feedback on functionality and request "wish lists" so that their developers can make improvements and additions to the system.
